The first weeks of caps have been exciting. I remember visiting the caps building in 8th grade and have been interested in the program ever scene. I had a hard time adjusting my expectations for the program, because it would not be in person. Not going to the classroom was disappointing and I felt like I was missing the part of caps that I was most excited for, the hands on training. When we got to drive down to the building and pick up our med bags I felt so excited, looking through the equipment and getting to physically hold something was super fun. Even just getting to see the mannequin dummies as I drove by was cool. I am so excited to finally go into the building and start learning actual medical skills. Although I am stressed about finding something business casual to wear.
