Getting to go to CAPS in person was so much fun. We will not get the opportunity to do all of the Sim Labs that years past have done, but I am grateful that we got to experience three of them. "Ann Haler" the second stem lab was my favorite, I think our team was efficient and successful. It is cool to see how everyone reacts in a situation where there is less instruction, personally I struggle because I'm not used

to it. I have not had many experiences that have called for fast critical thinking and every thing we do in school seems to be very structured.

One of the challenges that I have faced this semester has been learning the anatomy, I have not taken anatomy at my high school yet and I feel like I am missing the background information. The thing that helped most was

when we used plastic wrap and expo markers to label the different tendons of the ankle. Being able to touch and locate, rather than just seeing pictures and diagrams helped. I have grown a lot in my sportsmed skills. I have learned how to wrap an ankle, do sutures, and many other things that did not know before.

It is sad that we are doing distance learning, I am going to miss all the hands on activities. I hope that we can find a way to do more hands on work at home. There are still some things in our med bags that we have not learned t

o use. I think the best way to stay connected is to do more learning games where we get to talk and interact with other classmates, even if it is over zoom. It gets hard when it's all busy work. I hope that we learn skills pertaining to dislocated limbs. I know that athlete can dislocate shoulders and knees, and they have to be popped back into place.
